More than a third of students believe violence is an acceptable means to silence speakers on campus. This is not an isolated incident; it's a reflection of a broader culture.
A Culture of Permission

He suggests that while most students may not personally engage in such actions, the fact that they condone it creates a 'permission culture.' A Split Among Liberals and Conservatives
Interestingly, the survey shows an even split between liberals and conservatives in their tolerance for violence.
